Our Herd
Meet the Mustangs
Connecting with a wild mustang offers a transformative experience, deepening your understanding of trust and fostering self-discovery. Through our Equine-Assisted Learning program, you’ll see the strength and spirit in these horses’ eyes. As you build a connection with these remarkable animals, you’ll gain valuable insights into the healing power of trust and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
Wild-born mustangs and foster youth often share similar pasts—disrupted beginnings, loss of trust, and lives shaped by systems beyond their control. In our Equine-Assisted Learning program, youth partner with these horses to rebuild trust, connection, and confidence together. As youth learn to communicate clearly and regulate their emotions, the horses respond—offering immediate, honest feedback. In this shared healing space, both the horse and the young person discover safety, resilience, and the ability to move forward.
